Major Responsibilities

?Leading the internal control team to identify risk and mitigate exposure for the organization

?Develop, monitor, and assess recommendations for improvements in the processes. Ensure adherence to local and global policies and control structure. Partner with direct reports, business functional areas and shared services to improve process and optimize controls.

?Assist in overseeing monthly control monitoring

?Collaborate and liaise with cross-functional teams to implement and change control designs to ensure organizational risks are mitigated

?Liaise with both internal and external auditors to test controls.

?Liaise with Global Controllership teams and local leadership team to assist with driving the effective implementation and sustainment of the internal controls program

?Review and recommended changes necessary to company policies to align requirements between the control design and the operating procedures.

?Analyzes company’s financial risks and potential exposure through rigorous review of financial processes.


?Motivate, develop, and lead the team by demonstrating our core basic Global Walmart values in daily interactions.

?Lead global internal control programs for SOX, FCPA anti-corruption compliance and baseline internal controls.

?Assess control findings and identify mitigating controls. Ensure strong remediation of deficiencies/findings in a timely manner.


Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree on Finance, accounting or economics
CPA, preferred
10+ years’ experience in finance/accounting.
At least 3 years of management experience.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, processes and accounting related standards/regulations.

Strong in English communications and writing skills.

Good communication abilities across teams

Highly organized with strong project management skills.

Good presentation skills.(written and verbal)

Excellent communication skills, good working attitude & behavior.
