Development QA (quality assurance) engineer monitors every phase of the Automotive development process to ensure design quality, making sure that the SW / HW adheres to the standards and to customer requirements. He/she also manages the issue related to reliability with an external consultant and leads FMEA meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.
2. Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
3. Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process.
4. Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware interface changes.
5. Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent reoccurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
6. Develop and update a Quality development plan for assigned project(s);
7. Leading and executing FMEAs with a team.
8. Updates on regular basis the customer of FMEAs status and content.
9. Manage Reliability issues with an external consultant.
1. Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3. Well know FMEA&APQP
4. High level of initiative with ability to self-manage.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
6. Good English spoken and written skill for routine communication.
Preferred:
1. Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
2. Prior quality assurance experience in a product Automotive development environment.
3. Knowledge of ISO26262 standard.
4. Knowledge SW / HW / mechanical design.
5. Power electronic experience.
