Senior Design Verification Engineer
Job Description
Design Verification Engineer is responsible for test verification preparation and execution on PC/Surface accessories. Primary responsibilities include reviewing HW specifications and schematics, creating HW test plans and test cases to cover most scenarios and ensure that the design is robust and meets all MS internal and industrial requirements.
Required Skills
· Minimum 3 years of industry related experience in the product design of high volume MCU based consumer electronics area, expertise in digital, power, analog circuits, circuit prototyping, and PCB layout and assembly.
· Has strong HW design and debugging skills. Capable for reviewing schematics and executing tests to ensure that the design is robust and meets all MS internal and industrial requirements.
· Has strong root causing and analyzing skills. Able to effectively find ways to reproduce difficult problems, root cause and then find solutions.
· Has strong passion to provide best user experience from design. Has strong passion to come up with and prototype new ideas for best user experience.
· Skills in writing test procedures and reports including the ability for end presentations of result.
