Overview:
The application chemist team is primarily responsible for technical support of China. As an integral part of this team, the role of application chemist is to provide technical support, handle the Demo experiment and application projects for clients, demonstrate the solution to prospective clients etc. Waters is actively seeking a motivated individual as our application chemist, who would work closely with the BD and marketing members to drive the marketing using the applications and technology, and help to increase the business growth.

Responsibilities:
?Develop solutions with liquid chromatography & mass spectrometry based on Waters’ products, to meet the needs of China Market
?Provide competitive Demo experiments results to show advantages of total solution for prospective clients of food and environment field
?Give on-site application training of food and environment on responsible product and technology
?Support installed site to help customers be successful Maintain installed base customer satisf
?Visit, communicate and collaborate with customers based on our solution and the keen understanding of the customers
?Collaborate closely with BD and marketing teams to ensure business growth

Qualifications:
?Master’s degree or above in Analytical Chemistry, Food research, Food analysis or a related field
?Minimum 3 years of experience on liquid chromatography and high resolution mass spectrometry technology or Quadrupole mass spectrometry
?Familiar with the workflow of pesticide, veterinary drugs analysis. Ability to develop LC-MS experiment method, summary results and present the result to customer independently
?Have rich experience in Waters LC and LCMS platform is a plus
?Ability to drive one project independently
?Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
?Good oral and written English skills
?Passionate in learning high-tech science
?A team p and self-starter with strong organization skills
