Make it your story.Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will be responsible for the development, verification, and approval of materials for new product projects, ensuring process reliability, quality consistency, and cost-effectiveness of mass production materials.The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions division in China.You will be mainly accountable for: ● Material Development:Collaborate closely with R&D, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Quality Control, and other departments to ensure the smooth development and timely delivery of materials required for new product projects. Be responsible for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis of materials, work with suppliers to determine manufacturing processes and workflows, and identify and drive cost-reduction opportunities. Lead the resolution of various technical issues arising during material development, including those related to quality, design, delivery timelines, and manufacturing, organizing cross-functional root cause analysis and implementing effective countermeasures. Participate in the technical ****uation, ****ion, and validation of new materials to ensure they meet product performance and reliability requirements. ● Material Approval:Organize and execute the material approval process to ensure materials comply with design specifications, quality standards, and industry regulations. Plan and track the material development and approval process, coordinate internal and external resources to ensure key milestones meet the project timeline. Review and approve suppliers' Quality Control Plans, ensuring they cover critical material characteristics, process control points, and can effectively address issues identified during the development phase. Be responsible for the collation, archiving, and handover of approval-related documentation.Qualifications for the role ● Bachelor’s degree or above, major in materials, mechanical or electrical related. ● Experience in material development or supplier quality management. ● Material development experience in the electrical industry or related manufacturing sectors (such as automotive or industrial automation) is preferred. ● Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral. ● 材料加工工藝：熟悉常見的金屬材料（如鋼板、銅排、鋁型材）和非金屬材料（如工程塑料、絕緣件）的特性、加工工藝（沖壓、焊接、注塑、表面處理）及應(yīng)用場景。 ● 可制造性設(shè)計(jì)（DFM）與分析：精通DFM方法論，能獨(dú)立對物料設(shè)計(jì)進(jìn)行可制造性、可裝配性及成本優(yōu)化分析，并提出改進(jìn)建議。 ● 圖紙解讀：能熟練解讀機(jī)械結(jié)構(gòu)圖、電氣原理圖。 ● 供應(yīng)商管理：具備與供應(yīng)商進(jìn)行技術(shù)對接、工藝評審、問題根因分析與解決的能力。 ● 質(zhì)量控制工具：熟練掌握與運(yùn)用核心質(zhì)量工具，包括但不限于：PPAP（生產(chǎn)件批準(zhǔn)程序）、FAI（首件檢驗(yàn)）、Control Plan（控制計(jì)劃）、FMEA（潛在失效模式與后果分析）、8D報(bào)告等。 ● 成本分析：具備基礎(chǔ)的物料成本結(jié)構(gòu)分析能力，與SCM、供應(yīng)商協(xié)作推動(dòng)降本方案。 ● 項(xiàng)目管理：具備基本的項(xiàng)目管理知識，能夠制定和管理物料開發(fā)與批準(zhǔn)計(jì)劃，識別風(fēng)險(xiǎn)，并確保按時(shí)交付。 ● 工具軟件：熟悉CAD軟件（如SolidWorks, AutoCAD）操作，熟悉PLM/ERP系統(tǒng)（如Windchill, SAP）的操作。 ● 溝通與協(xié)調(diào)能力：能夠與內(nèi)部部門和供應(yīng)商進(jìn)行有效的技術(shù)溝通與協(xié)調(diào)，推動(dòng)問題解決。 ● 問題解決與決策能力：具備結(jié)構(gòu)化的問題分析與解決能力。 ● 結(jié)果導(dǎo)向：以項(xiàng)目目標(biāo)和績效指標(biāo)為導(dǎo)向，確保按計(jì)劃完成任務(wù)。 ● 團(tuán)隊(duì)合作：具備團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神，能夠積極主動(dòng)地支持和配合跨部門團(tuán)隊(duì)工作。 ● 學(xué)習(xí)與適應(yīng)能力：能夠快速學(xué)習(xí)新技術(shù)、新工藝和新材料知識，適應(yīng)不斷變化的市場和項(xiàng)目需求。What's in it for you?
