Gear expert, Mechanical Engineer R&D (Sinter Group)
Location: Suzhou (China), after intensive training at Austrian R&D Headquarter

Responsibilities:
?Evaluation and design of gears for automotive powertrain applications, particularly regarding the NVH optimization
?Solving technical challenges and trouble shootings at our production site in Suzhou in international and interdisciplinary teams by using systematic approaches and scientific methods.
?Monitoring and analysis of the entire gear manufacturing process steps from powder metallurgical method till final finish-machining
?Create assessment and inspection strategy of gear NVH behaviors
?Support customers application, and validation program
?Support sales team as well as product engineering
?Management of R&D projects dealing with novel materials, advanced processes or new kind of products.
?Intense exchange and collaboration with R&D Head Quarter
?Support of introduction of innovative products and processes from head quarter to site Suzhou.
?Close collaboration with on-site sales, engineering and purchasing representatives

Requirements:
?Technical degree (PhD and/or Master) in fields like mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, with oversee experience is welcome.
?Knowledge and practical experience in gear design and application in automotive industry, particularly in engine or transmission.
?Knowledge of NVH and its measurement as well as its assessment
?Knowledge of design software like Creo, Catia, or NX
?Knowledge of simulation software like Creo simulate, Hyperworks, or Abaqus …
?Familiar with statistical tools for engineering
?Language: mother tongue Chinese, fluent English, German beneficial
