Position Description:

You are the key player in Logitech(Swiss Based), WW R&D teams to grow AME capability in Suzhou through exploration, integration, validation and introduction of new manufacturing processes, which supports our electronic consumer product design and production successfully

You will participate as part of the Mechanical Engineering team, working directly with ID/CMF Designers, CMF Engineering, Global Source Management, Supplier Development, Operation and Vendors;

Focused on accomplishing techno and product objective, you will research complex manufacturing skill and new technique in design phase; build and practise specified manufacturing guideline and solutions in execution phase for complex product design requirement.

Responsible:

To conceive, explore and execute new material and manufacturing processes development as per product roadmap and portfolio;

To play as consultancy role in techno exploration and product design on material, tooling, processing related

To consolidate and maintain manufacturing processing and material application guideline to feed in mechanical design and development

To drive a process quality continuously improvement related to material and processing

To direct and oversight of suppliers’ fabrication processing qualification, approval and documentation during new product development

Education:

BS / MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Material Engineering

Required Experience

Minimum above 5 years of experience introducing new products into manufacturing in R&D team

Played techno leader role in material application, processing development field

Expert to guide plastic molding parameters setting for the requirement of new material and complex ME/CMF design

Qualification:

Self-motivated, proactive, process and detail oriented, organized, hands-on, results driven

Risk assessment and management through FMEA

Problem solving skills with DFM and DOE

Data analysis in minitab or JMP, and statistical analysis using 6 Sigma principle

Communicate effectively in a worldwide environment

Require a frequent travel (20~30+%)
