Job Responsibilities:
?Participate in initial customer discussions for new programs and new projects. Guide customers in tooling/mold design/processing troubleshooting problems until commercialization.
?Provide training and consultation to customers in the areas of tooling/mold designs through dedicated cooperation with Technology team and customers. Ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery of projects.
?Prioritize and manage program activities including conceptual design, prototyping, testing and validation at the customers.
?Assess and initiate new product and application development activities as part of continuous improvements for TA and ADC.
?Work with global Technology team to design die or mold for new application development. Plan, design and implement technically complex global application development and customer support programs. Lead transfer programs from other regional labs to ADC
?Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of ADC tools equipment by proper scheduling in accordance to preventive measures.
Job Requirements:
?College degree or higher in polymer science, chemical engineering, polymer engineering, mechanical engineering or other relevant discipline.
?Strong knowledge in materials science, polymer applications, injection molding and/or extrusion/co-extrusion technologies in plastic industry. Plastic designs knowledge is an added advantage.
?Good initiative and strong team player
?At least 5 years of working experience in mold/die design and minimum 3 years of experience in automotive profile design or molded part design.
?Familiar with the software application of Solidworks 3D, ProE and AutoCAD simulation tools like FEA, Polyflow or Moldflow, etc.
?Proven capability to work in stressful and complex situations.
?Fluent in English writing and oral communication.
