Duties and ResponsibilitiesStudent’s boarding life ?live on the campus in the Boarding House and help to create a ‘home away from home’ for the boarders?supervise and guide students’ daily routines, including waking up, bedtime, meals, and study schedules?ensure the safety of the dormitory area, conduct regular inspections of facilities, and report potential hazards to the HSM?support the School’s Behaviour Policy and Rewards Policy and, by encouragement, reward and a clearly understood and fair system of sanctions, foster acceptance of the rules and expectations of students’ behaviour in the House and School?pay attention to students’ emotional and psychological well-being, identifying their needs and concerns.?organize and participate in house activities to foster a sense of community and teamwork among students.?liaise with medical team to ensure that students’ medical requirements are properly catered for to encourage students to adopt a healthy life**** and to ensure their clothes and personal belongings are used appropriately and stored securely and tidily?communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on students' progress and well-being.?collaborate with school staff, including HSM and assistant HSM to support students’ overall development.?promote the ethos and aims of the school and act as an ambassador at every opportunity?always act in the best interests of the students, putting them at the centre of each concern?support the weekend programme for boarders, ensuring that the provision during the weekends is of a very high standard and fully supported by all Houses?assistant to develop and promote participation in a full and varied programme of co-curricular activitiesTeaching Support?assist subject teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and resource management?provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring for students who need additional academic support?support students with assignments, projects, and exam preparation under the guidance of teachers?supervise students during lessons, group work, and activities when required?organize departmental resources and ensure their availability for teachers and students?work closely with teachers to align on lesson ****ives and strategies for student success?participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as needed?other reasonable tasks and duties assigned by the line manager
